My primary focus has been the launch and day to day management of the insurance subsidiary, Knox Insurance Services, Inc. I also launched the Austin market and build internal apps in Salesforce.

Helped consumers make better insurance decisions with SureUp, an insurance robo-advisor. The app gathered home and auto quotes from competing insurers and scored each quote based on how it fit each user's unique wants and needs. It helped users move beyond simple price-based comparisons by providing insights into the quality of the policies and the insurers behind those policies.

Helped insurance executives understand their company's risk and negotiate deals that moved hundreds of millions of dollars of insurance premium into the secondary market at Aon Benfield, the world's #1 reinsurance broker.

Idojo

Idojo helps users improve their professional storytelling to have more enjoyable, rewarding careers. I built the app using mostly Bubble and a little AWS (for the video processing and serving). Check it out.

Singletrack Today

Singletrack Today is a serverless, machine learning, web app that uses stream and weather data to predict mountain biking trail conditions at Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park. It was built to promote trail stewardship (riding on wet trails damages them) and hone my data science (Python) and serverless (AWS Lambda and S3) skills. Check it out.
